I have taken only one Excedrin Migraine tablet, containing 250mg acetaminophen and 250 aspirin NSAID. Can i take a hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5/325? I know the single dose limit for acetaminophen is 1000mg so Im assuming I should be fine as this is just 575mg, but just want to make sure.
Keep an eye on acetaminophen levels in all your meds, OTC and Rx.
For the average healthy adult, the generally recommended maximum daily dose is no more than 4,000 milligrams (mg) from all sources. But in some people, doses close to the 4,000 mg daily limit for adults could still be toxic to the liver. It’s safest to take only what you need, and to not exceed 3,000 mg a day whenever possible, and recently the fda in the US reduced the guidelines for Rx's that contain acetaminophen because it causes liver toxicity.
Be aware of what you're putting in your body and you'll be fine.
Yes that would be fine but when you switch to the hydrocodone/apap stick with it until it's good enough where the Excedrin Migraine well take care of it and you already know to watch for the amouth of acetaminophen for the day.Hope your feeling better.
