You need to see your doctor again - there are other options.

Viagra, Cialis etc work in approximately 50% to 80% of men, depending on the cause of erectile dysfunction.

If they do not work your doctor could suggest you try a intraurethral prostaglandin (Alprostadil). This is a suppository that is about a third the size of a grain of rice that is inserted into the penis approximately 30 minutes before intercourse is anticipated. This works in about 50% of those who have failed with Viagra or similar type medicines. Alternatively a prostaglandin injection may be tried to improve blood flow, or testosterone may be given to improve your blood levels.

If not effective, various vacuum suction devices are available. A vacuum device is a tube that is placed over the penis. A hand pump is connected to the tube and acts as a vacuum. This may help increase blood flow to the penis. A band is then placed at the base of the penis to help hold the erection.

Penile prosthesis surgery is also a very effective treatment in men who have not responded to options described above.

What dose did you take? For example 5mg does nothing for me but 10 and 20mg works like a bomb!
