What should I do if the vet gave my dog Azodyl and it was not cold? The bottle has not been ope?

Hi, Jen contact your vet ASAP. The product won't go bad for about 5-6hrs unless it was roasting, but some of the probiotics can deteriorate fairly quickly and the product will become ineffective. By law, you can't *return* it, but your vet will probably make good on it, especially if it was dispensed to you warm. Someone may have unknowingly stocked it on a shelf and it probably won't work ~ and they need to know. You can find good prices on line, but it must be shipped on ice and if there's a problem you're out the major $$$.
