I have low blood pressure and try to jog 3-4 times a week ... My doctor said take 2 pills a day and "see how you go and if you feel dizzy or faint reduce the dose" ... Does anyone take the pills as the headache appears and do they work that way ... I'm not a pill popping person so a bit afraid to take them all the time ... 56 year old female
I took verapamil for headaches a while back and noticed a real difference. They didn't go away completely but the highest level of pain definitely went down. That was taking it on a daily basis, not just as the headaches come on.
I will say my blood pressure is on the low side but as long as you're not feeling light headed or dizzy it's not a big concern.
