... contraindicated in people with V-Tach. I do however have a defibrillator. I also take Diovan, livalo, Prednisone, and several inhalers for COPD (Advair, Speriva and Albuterol). My BP is a Tachy 95/70.
Was it a cardiologist that ordered it? I have to assume he knows more then me, but my worry is that digoxin is supposed to be stopped before electrical cardioversion and you have a defibrillator. You pretty much have no control over when it triggers. It is contraindicated in v fib in wolff-parkinson's -white syndrome.
