I am being tested tomorrow to see if I have cocaine in my system am wondering if my medication will show up
Kaismama is right. Most drug screens test for controlled substances only. Antidepressants are not controlled drugs so they most likely wont test for them. Occasionally I have seen pain docs who test for antidepressants but it takes a special test to detect them. Most drug screens are just looking for controlled drugs, legal and illegal, looking for things like cocaine, THC, amphetamines, opiates, heroin, PCP, benzodiazepines, alcohol etc. Some only test for a few categories and some test for more, depending on who is testing. If these are medications you are prescribed, it shouldnt be a problem anyway.
