I sleep well at night. I go to bed at 1030pm and get up at 730am when at work. At the week ends I lay in until 10am ish. I feel constantly tired and could sleep at a moments notice?! Any clues? Thank you
Hi, Lel! I'm agreeing with Pledge that a dosage adjustment may be in order. Also, do you take your meds in the morning? If so, your doctor may suggest changing to bedtime.
Do you have a history of any medical problems? Do you routinely have bloodwork done to monitor your liver function? It might also be of value to be checked for anemia, thyroid problems, and any vitamin deficiencies ~ especially D and the B complex. These can all contribute to depressive symptoms and chronic fatigue.
Hoping you feel perkier soon! WCV
An alternative to consider is increasing the venlafaxine dosage. Depression symptoms include tiredness and therefore, this maybe the problem. A frank discussion with the doc may help. I have found that every 5 or so years I have to adjust my antidepressant because it stops working as well.
