... before I go in, but wondering who has had this before and what's been your experience. Are most people able to return to work the next day? What kind of follow up is involved? My doc is great with procedures, but neither he nor his office are great with information and communication!
Follow up - I had both iliac veins stented. Feeling fine, but nobody told me till I was done with the first one, that I would need to be on Plavix for 3 months afterward, and then go on baby aspirin (was not told for how long). After months of speaking with various staff and the doctor about not wanting the timing of this to interfere with upcoming major back surgery, this was pulled on me at the last minute, and as a result, back surgery must be postponed for at least 3 months. I am furious! Now I have a new date for surgery but am wondering if the 3 months later date will also be considered too soon as I will have only gone off the Plavix for a couple of weeks, and on to the baby aspirin, and I don't know how long I need to be on baby aspirin, but you also have to be off that for at least a week before surgery. Any experiences will be appreciated.
