It is primarily used to reduce triglyceride levels and has anti inflammatory properties. I take it to ease the muscle aches I have from taking Lipitor. I can honestly say this drug worked and it reduce the pain enough to where I am now active. It also decreased my lipid profile by 9% and I will be able to reduce the amount of Lipitor I take. Some people have used it for dry eyes and others for arthritis.
