My vv in my leg is swollen, red, and extremely painful. It is warm to the touch. I had the same thing happened to this vein about 3 or 4 months ago. Can this be dangerous?
Hi, i have a vv in my leg too that came when i was pregant with my second son.. mine also went red and swollen in the past and hurt, the doctor prescribed me some gel cream which made it go back to normal, i dont think its dangerous i think it happens when u have exerted your legs too much like too much walking running exercise are maybe standing for long periods of time in your job or whatever..
I have asked to have mine removed several times but the docs just keep saying its not bad enough for the nhs to contemplate removing it so unfortunately we have to live with it unless we go private..
Hope it gets better soon for u :-)
They can get swollen and warm to touch. I would talk with your Doctor about it. There is more then one reason for the cause. Mine is from the flow of blood, reflux, meaning blood pools and not circulate properly, this is not dangerous but can cause pain swelling and warm to touch.
