Vancomycin - Can you live without a gallbladder ? & is there any concerns about removel?

Hi jaimig! Yes you can live without a gallbladder. Your liver makes 'bile',and stores it in this organ. Bile works on fats that you've injested. Surgery on removal of theGB is done thru a laparoscope, and it requires only 3 small incisions. The surgeon usually re-routs in such a way that the bile will go directly from liver to the food you've eaten. The surgeon can give you more info and peace of mind.
