Is valiums equal to xanax?

Don't know if they are equal but they are in the same drug classification.

Hello alub. No. They are both from the benzodiazepine family of drugs. Valium is long lasting,slow acting whereas Xanax is short lasting fast acting. Valium is used for GAD whereas Xanax is perscribed more often than not for panic attacks, high stress moments. Regards, pledge free discount card
