Should valium and soma ever be taken at the same time?

Probably not together at the same time. Valium is the BEST muscle relaxant there is. It is one of the few that acts directly on the muscle rather than just working through sedation. Soma mainly just sedates and Valium is sedating too so by taking them together, you can over sedate. I would advise keeping the doses of each a couple hours apart if you feel you need both. Really the Valium is a superior drug for relaxing muscles and should be all you need.

I agree with Dzoo! They should never be taken together at the same time. Wait a few hours between the two.

No, and the prescribing physician should advise you on this as these are rarely prescribed to be taken together.
