Or will the vaginal still be able to self lubricate?
I am asking since the wash is supposed to help with making it smell good and not be "wet"
since it is used just on the external vulva, it should not affect the vagina's lubrication which comes from inside the vagina. No matter what soap you use, a vagina still smells like a vagina, this is normal. A healthy vagina doesnt stink but it will have a normal vagina smell which should not be unpleasant. If you try too hard to get rid of any and all odor, you will change the pH of the vagina leading to infections. Dont be so concerned with how you smell. If you bathe or shower daily using soap and water externally, you will be clean. Do not use any douches however. The vagina is self cleansing and NEVER needs a douche unless a doctor tells you to use one! Douching is bad for you!
