No, it will make it worse. It is a powerful antibiotic antiprotozoan. It kills off all bacteria good and bad and will actually kill off the good bacteria that keeps the yeast in check. Use Monistat, which is miconazole, for yeast. Bacterial Vaginosis can mimic the same symptoms as many yeast infections and that is what metro gel treats.
