... symptoms as well such as moodiness, hot flushes, headaches, acne, insomnia etc?
It was given to me only for the vaginal dryness. I didn't think it did that good of a job looking for alternative.
I had very bad vaginal dryness and found vagifem was too harsh for me so looked for something natural. I use virgin coconut oil. I put it on my vaginal area an some inside my vagina for relief. Works great. After awhile I don't need it and only use it when it flares up again. Vitamin e capsules can be put in at night too or the Virgin coconut oil too. You don't need alot it melts as soon as it touches your skin. Try it it s amazing.
I was given a prescription for vagifem from my ob/gyn when I went in for my yearly exam. I had never researched it and didn't even know what it was! After googling it and doing research, I decided it wasn't for me. So I went to my compounding pharmacist, he called my ob/gyn, and filled a prescription for me for vaginal estriol cream, which is an E3 estrogen, the mildest form. I researched it, and feel very confident in going this route of treatment. Will update you in a couple more weeks! So far, so good!
Hi Jenny! 3 days ink this myself and I have high hopes! I tried the Estring, but I had chronic burning asks recurrent yeast infections.. I don't know it did anything more than attack the vaginal dryness but I went into early menopause at 39 and I will not go without my Black Cohosh capsule and Evening Primrose capsule daily for hot flashes and night sweats, trust and believe! I get both online at the Swanson Vitamin website for best deals compared to even Walmart prices, they are menopause godsends and I tell all my friends! Hoping the vagifem takes care of the dryness issue that's not
Vagifem helps to keep the inside tissue up that's like's a hormone from menopausal.
