Hello jxcx. I understand your concern, but there more often than not, is a difference between the generic and non-generic drug. Sometimes its hardly noticeable, and sometimes, theres a larger difference. It really varies from one drug to the other. The generic, because of FDA laws, must come within a certain margin, percentage, of working much as the non-generic. The patents do protect the non-generic from being cloned, identical.
