... found out via ultrasound. I have heard that there are many causes for this including IC and even cancer. Does anyone have any information about this?
I don't personally have this, but my sister-in-law has had Interstitial Cystitis for years. Has your doctor ordered a cystoscopy to look inside the bladder and to take biopsies, if warranted? That is the best way for an absolute diagnosis to be determined. IC is, at times, very uncomfortable, but treatable. It is a chronic, non-infectious inflammation of the bladder wall. Many foods will aggravate IC, including cranberry juice, which is recommended for UTI. I recommend that you ask your doctor to order a cystoscopy. Hope this helps.
