Big mistake, put that denture back in. You want your gums to mold to it as it heals. If you have tramadol you can take 100 mg every 6 hrs. While your denture is still out check your gums, be sure there is no signs of infection. I had all mine out, and went to work the next day, took ibuprofen for a few days. I'm wondering why you have so much pain. If you are taking otc ibuprofen you can take 2 tabs twice a day. Its best to put an ice pack on the outside of your mouth. Heat might help now too. I'm thinking if you still have so much pain tomorrow, call the surgeon who removed them.
Hi, my father had to have all of his teeth removed, and i remember him suffering with pain for quite a while. He was also prescribed Tramadol, and took Paracetamol alongside. Also he would gargle Aspirin and use Anbesol gel on his gums when needed. Maybe this is an option? It is important to check your gums regularly for any signs of swelling, increased redness, heat, or discharge.
