I was previously diagnosed with Sarcoidosis in 2003 (subcutaneous raised plaque in my arm) and went into remission within 5 yrs after treatment with 3 different medications. I recently had an endoscopy done by my Gastro dr. and biopsies were done. He has given me the results of the biopsies as sarcoidosis of the stomach and bottom of the esophagus. I really want to avoid Prednisone or steroids if I can, just like my previous treatment. I am looking for any updated information since 2003-2005 , i.e. medications, treatment methods, new research, etc. for Sarcoidosis. Ty in advance .
