Hi, my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on the 14th day of my cycle, according to my period app I was due to ovulate the next day. I took the morning after pill a little over 24 hrs later, I could have ovulated before I took the pill, idk. We had more unprotected sex (like 3 times) the day after I took the morning after pill and this time I didn't take Plan B. Is there a chance I could have gotten pregnant or does anyone know if Plan B will stay in your system long enough to prevent a pregnancy a day after you take it?? Can anyone relate to this situation, if so did you end up pregnant?
Plan B is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex, it will not protect you from pregnancy if you have sex after it has been taken.
If unprotected sex should occur again, even within the same cycle, it is safe to use the emergency contraceptive pill again if needed.
