I and my wife had unprotected sex yesterday night and she took iPill just after the sex. Today in the morning we used protection but somehow the condom broke and now we don't know that whether my wifey is at risk of getting pregnant ? Will the iPill's effect continue ? Should she take another iPill ?
I have a problem understanding why a married couple would find this acceptable birth control. Why doesn't she get on some regular birth control. The ipill isn't like taking candy its for use in emergencies, like the second time you had sex, or rape. The ipill delays ovulation and there is no study of how fast the fertility comes back after they are taken, that is why they are suppsed to be taken immediately after sex, and not a few days before. If she takes it again in such a short period of time, it can really mess up her cycle. Her period will be late and she'll have bleeding when its not expected. Not to mention any other side effects from the ipill. The ipill is only about 80-95% effective. Regular birth control is more then 99% effective.
