I got the nexplanon implant in the middle of May. About 2-3 weeks prior to that, I had an error in judgement and had unprotected sex. The doctor told me that some of the side effects cause by the implant could be weight gain, nausea, headaches etc.. I've had the implant for 6 months and am still having these symptoms as well as others. Is it possible that if I were 2-3 weeks pregnant when I got the implant to carry to term? A couple of weeks after I got the implant, I passed something that I thought coul be a miscarriage but now I'm not so sure. I've also been bleeding since I got the implant. Nonstop aside from a couple of weeks in September. Again, is it possible to be pregnant even with the implant and as much as I've been bleeding? It's really dark blood with a lot of small clots. Also, if I were to be pregnant what kind of birth defects or problems could the fetus possibly have as a result of the nexplanon?
