I obtained the 30 capsule, 28 mg, version of Namenda from the Forest Ave CVS Pharmacy in Montgomery, AL on 8/19/14 but have been unable to obtain a refill at the Vaughn Road CVS in Montgomery, AL. The Vaughn Road CVS is much closer to my house. 3 Refills are allowable on the original prescription before 8/19/15. It is Oct 14, 2014, almost 2 months later!
There is no reason on earth why you shouldn't be able to take that prescription bottle in there and get it. You should be able to get a prescription refilled at any pharmacy if you have the prescription bottle. The cvs close to your home just has to call the cvs where you got the first one filled. When I moved from virginia to pennsylvania, I took all my prescriptions that I'd gotten at walgreens in va, to walmart in pa and got them filled with no problems.

Has anyone heard something to the effect that regular Namenda pills are to be discontinued in favor?
