to insurance carriers, drs leaving, companies dropping my ins etc. My currents psyc drugs are wellbutrin, 450, 2 in morning and 1 3pm: clonaxapan, .5 mg, 3x: effexor (newest one, I went off paxil which I had been taking for years): trazadone, 100 mg or I wouldn't sleep at all. I am angry, irritable, very forgetful, outbursts which I usually don't remember what I said and why, I get lost when driving or question myself IF I know where I'm going. Thanks to my gps I can get where I want to go & back.
None of these meds are psychotropics. That is more antidepressant medication then I ever thought one person can take, its no wonder you forget. Is your depression that hard to treat? Does being on all that help your depression? I think I'd want a second opinion and go to another psychiatrist for a medication evaluation.
Not an exceptionally odd combination of meds: three antidepressants one of which is for sleep and one antianxiety med, I take a similar combination and have in the past. Key is whether it is working for you. If you are still having angry, irritable outbursts, then doesn't sound like it is. Maybe time to have a frank talk with the doc.
