What type of medication can I use to take down swelling due to dental infection while taking xarelt?

The only approved is Tylenol or its generics. I would suggest a little salt water gargle. I wouldn't use any alcohol based like Listerine. You can't use any NSAIDs like Aleve, ibuprofen or aspirin.

You need to have an antibiotic if you have mouth problems that could be an abcess. If its swelling after a procedure, ice will help a lot. The other poster is correct, unless you can get the dentist to order you some percocet. or something, there isn't much you could take for pain. free discount card
