... temps, I always end up throwing away part of my vial due to very high glucose. I am referring to the vial in my pump. Is there a way to keep it from getting too hot while I work outside and save money? This gets very frustrating and expensive! Please help if possible.
Look online to see if there is any protective insulated cover for the pump. Have to talked to the supplier of the pump about it? I am thinking of something to rig up if there isn't anything They make a small gel pack that you freeze to put in collars for dogs to keep them cool. I'm wondering if fastening one to the pump would be a thought. How hot does it where you live? The pump is around your body which is 98 at least. Is your temp up from working outside and are you dehydrated. Dehydration can certainly raise your blood sugar.
