I was prescribed this by the emergency room doctor who was less than thrilled that I showed up in to see him again, he seemed very condescending to me and was like: "Okay... you have pain all over... it's just a flair-up... get out of here and don't come back." The problem is I had an episode with slurred speech in August and I had another on 9-18-2013, & neither one was taken seriously by the doctor, a nurse in my doctor's office urged me to go because I was slurring my speech.
It should help some. It is a mild opioid pain reliever. Did you tell them that your Drs office sent you? Did they do any CT scans on your brain to make sure it wasnt a stroke or anything circulatory going on in the brain? I would f/u with my primary doctor and be sure they test you a little further. Slurred speech is not a part of fibro. These Drs are getting ridiculous!! You mention pain and all of a sudden you are a worthless drug seeker! It makes me furious!
