Tylenol - does it boost the effect of pain pills?

It can help some as long as there is not acetaminophen (Tylenol) already in the pain pill itself. Too much acetaminophen is bad for your liver.

Yes ! No more than 4 Gm/day.

Vicodin is a mixture because the two mixed together has a good effect.

acetaminophen is in a lot of OTCs. ..NyQuil,etc.
Make sure you read your labels.

Bump; Just as you have been told you have to be very careful with Tylenol, APAP, Acetaminophen, and many more names, It is not only in pain meds but sleep meds cold medications all kinds of stuff so be very careful. If your pain medication is still not doing it maybe you should double check with your doctor. Just for the record. 0.5gm of Tylenol is 500mg which is 1 extra strength Tylenol and if you need to take the maximum dose of 8 tablets or 4gm's you should be talking to your doctor. free discount card
