No. Neurontin is not a benzodiazepine. It is actually an anticonvulsant drug but it is also good for treating nerve pain. Benzodiazepines, if you have taken them in the past, are notorius for being detected in urine drug screens for a long time after the last dose. I have had a personal instance of having them show up six weeks after one dose. So if you have taken anything like Valium, Xanax, Ativan or klonopin in the past month or two, that may be why it is showing up still.
