Should you tell your new partner that you had it once before?

Do you have to disclose that you had it before?
Of course you are in no way required to disclose any information to your partner, unless it could cause them permanent and irreversible damage. ie - If someone knowingly has HIV/AIDs and engages in sexual contact with another person without telling them they could potentially face criminal charges.
That being said I think in your situation it's going to come down to how you feel and if you forsee a long future with this person. I think honesty is always best. However if its not a serious relationship i believe i would not disclose your past because they are in no danger and it could potentially cause undue problems and embarrassment down the road, if y'all break up and they decide to open their mouth to people who have no business knowing.
I hope this helps :)
