A few months back I had Trich and got treated thankfully it went away but 6 months later I'm having the same yellow/green discharge with the same texture. My doctor taught me how to difference discharge from others and I'm pretty sure that I have trichomoniasis again.
Back in November my doctor gave me two spare pills of metronidazole just incase I wanted to be sure that it was gone. So my question is, Its possible to treat the infection with just two pills?
I would go to the doctors but money is tight and I don't have way to pay for it
Opened for suggestions
If they are 250mg pills (7 day plan) you are out of luck. If you have two 1000mg pills (1 day plan) left you could be in luck. What size are they?
"Metronidazole Dosage and Administration
In the Female
One-day treatment - two grams of Metronidazole, given either as a single dose or in two divided doses of one gram each, given in the same day.
Seven-day course of treatment - 250 mg three times daily for seven consecutive days. There is some indication from controlled comparative studies that cure rates as determined by vaginal smears and signs and symptoms, may be higher after a seven-day course of treatment than after a one-day treatment regimen."
