Apparently, the maker of Triaminic Thin Strips did away with the product some time ago.
"After careful consideration, Novartis Consumer Health, Inc. (NCH) has decided to discontinue the manufacturing and distribution of Children's Triaminic Thin Strips® as of January 1, 2012."
I had a pretty good supply and didn't realize they had been phased out, until I went to a couple of different stores yesterday and couldn't find them. It is now possible to buy individual boxes online for more than $50 a box, so there has obviously been a decent demand for this product. The Strips are so much easier to get kids to take than the liquid. I hope that NCH recognizes the demand and brings the product back. I have six kids and would be happy to appear in an ad for Thin Strips, if we could just get them back.

I loved the strips, it is so easy to get kids to take their medicine. I have an almost 3 year old that fights me about taking the liquid medicine. My older son used the strips and he liked them better. Where can I get the strips online?
I just got off the phone with a lady who works for the Novartis company. I complained to her about the Triaminic Thin Strips and she wants more parents to call in about the strips so maybe the Marketing Department can see that those strips are very helpful for the children and the parents. She told me the reason why they got rid of them it was a marketing decision! That is crap!
So come on parents start calling and complain. Maybe they will bring them back!!!
