once i started taking the blue pills i got my period on the second to last day. my period was super heavy for the next 2 weeks but now Im spotting. I did not take the white pills because I heard they didn't do anything. plus as the week went on I was afraid my period would get worse. was I suppose to keep taking the white pills? does it not matter?
It sounds like you just started it. When you first start any birth control pill it takes a few cycles for your body to be used to it. The bleeding will straighten out. Keep taking your pills in order. The inert pills (white ones) have a purpose, to keep you taking pills so you remember to start your next pack. Keep taking your pills no matter if you're bleeding or not. Your body will get used to them and you'll have a lighter, shorter period.
