Is Tri-Otic Ointment harmful to humans?

I accidently put a drop of it on a wound on my arm, thinking is was bacitracin.
It probably is ok. Only thing is it has cortisone in it and you don't want that on an infection. Read the labels before you use anything.
No, it is just an antibiotic ointment that has been specially sterilized for use in the eye. It wont hurt to use it on other areas. You can use eye antibiotic ointments on other areas but you cant use regular antibiotic ointment in the eye. It wont hurt you at all.
