and what type moisturizer is recommended? I have dry skin anyway, can't go without moisturizer after washing.
The directions for Tretinoin say you should wash and dry your face and hands 20 minutes before applying this drug. Then you should avoid the use of other skin products on the treated area for at least 1 hour. While I didn't find a specific lotion to put on over the Tretinoin, there are some products to avoid:
Do not use skin products that contain benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, resorcinol, or salicylic acid unless otherwise directed by your doctor. These products can cause severe skin irritation if used with tretinoin topical.
