I know they won't accept you into pain management with the spinal stenosis. That's what they told my in the whole tri-states. Other states maybe different I know Virginia and Florida all you need is an MRI to get narcotics. He had to get the diagnose of neuropathy, but he had to see a whole bunch of doctors. Are you seeing a neurologist and a ortho? I know my dads pcp gave him Vicodin and lyrica, but they stopped after 2 years.
Usually with the kyphosis most doctors will try a back brace and there are many different types of braces as there are different stages of the kyphosis severity! Some other treatments are surgical and one is called a kyphoplasty it's a spinal surgery where they place cement in the spinal canal to fill the deformity this also depends on the severity ! Most of these patients require pain MEDS before any treatments as their pain is pretty significant ! In my area Neuro surgeons do any spinal surgeries and there are so many advanced treatments ! But you must consult with a specialist regarding your choices as the longer you wait the more damage you could cause by doing nothing ! I hope this helps and wish you luck my friend
