My husband also has CHF, now he doesn't have any depression or anxiety problems but I do know that the Duloxetine does have a side effect of raising your blood pressure, so you would have to watch that carefully. It also could interfere with any blood thinners you might be taking. Other than that it should be okay. If your blood pressure does rise a bit, let the doctor know. If it were me I would take it, as what is worse? Not taking it and experiencing the problems with depression, anxiety and pain, or taking it and have it possibly work great for you. I would just be aware of any new side effects you begin feeling after taking it, in which I would place a call to the doctor, whom I'm sure already knows what you're taking and took that into account when prescribing this med. I take a large combo of meds. that when I look them up say don't take with this and that, which I do and I've never had any problems. I know my doctor well enough to know that he's not going to give me something that won't mix with the plethora of meds. I take! That's why you must tell your doctors every medication you take!! God Bless and may you soon feel better.
