The treatment depends on the severity of the infection.
Anti-fungals like Terbinafine, Itraconazole, fluconazole, ciclopirox are used. Ciclopirox nail lacquers are available. An appointment with Dermatologist would be useful as he can determine the severity of infections and required medications and mode of treatment.

I had fungal infection on toe nails. I put Vicks Vaporub on toe nails. It worked and periodically, like every once in a while, I apply it again and wear socks to bed at night, so that it doesn't return. Originally I would apply it morning and night. Now once a month just to be safe. Due to health I cannot take pills. This might help some people.
