I curently take Viibyrd but because of the cost I was looking for a low cost substitute. Other than ssri and snri which no longer work for me would trazode be a good choice?
Is trazdone a good substitute for Viibyrd ?

Hello. Possibly but in my own point of view, no. Trazodone, a older drug over the years has had negative reviews in regards to the treatment for depression. Generally patients do not respond in a positive way (meaning improvement in their condition/diagnosis) It is prescribed today off label for insomnia than it is for depression. However, given that you have not responded well to the other drugs you have mentioned, certainly try the drug and hopefully it helps. Regards pledge
