Expiration Dates have been proven to be only a "guideline".
Usually, it's been reported that a product, including meds, are good for almost a year after the expiration date.
So, if your patch "Expires" in January of 2015, it is most likely to be effective through September, 2015.
But keep in mind that meds start to lose their strength, a few months after the expiration date.
