I'm on 200 MG of Topamax and 20 MG of Zyprexa and want to know why I'm still gaining weight. Is the Topamax going to work or not
Topamax reduces your appetite. For most people that means you feel somewhat less hungry than normally. The rest is up to you. You have to eat less food, meaning less calories, and exercise to get the extra pounds off. It takes time and effort. It won't just happen, you have to make it happen. There's a lot to know about how to eat less calories and how to eat healthy so your body uses the food you give it and how to burn the calories. Then you have to learn the best ways to exercise for you. Some people do well with a program like Weight Watchers where they teach you a lot of this information.
