... would help the pain. Well she has been on it a week and the side effects are strong with her, she is almost a different child. She wasn't complaining about pain for the first week but now she is still in discomfort. My thought is if its not helping and causing her to act different then why should she even be on it. If this doesnt work I don't know what other options are out there besides a shunt. This is going to be a life long situation and I am not sure what to do. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I'm so sorry you and your little girl have to go through this. I know it's hard to see your little one hurting. I had to read up on syrnix to even know what it was. Perhaps the shunt would help her? I'd get another opinion, and go from there. In the meantime see if you can give her an over the counter pain med. Bless her little heart. If not, tell them you need SOMETHING for her pain. Best of luck to you. Please keep us posted.
