I have a hole in my tooth and I have for a long while now and it's just starting to get worse tomorrow I am going to the dentist but a bit after I got the hole in my tooth there has been a bad smell from the hole in my tooth and just 2 days ago my tooth has got to the point where it's hurting constantly I can't eat properly touch it brush my teeth or shut my mouth properly with out it hurting, anyone know what that could be?
Sounds like a cavity (tooth decay) that has gotten so deep, it has reached the dentin or inner part of the tooth. This is where the tooth's nerves are located and it can be quite painful. You will need to have it filled and may need a root canal. You should have gotten it taken care of before it got this bad then all you would have needed was a simple filling.
