Had a tonsillectomy and was given time off work by the doctor but his not was enough and they wanted to know exactly why you are given time off of work for a tolsillectomy? So that is my question in medical jargon why are you given time off work for having your tonsils out?
when you get your tonsils out it not only makes it very difficult to eat but to sleep and thats not including the pain. When you are on a liquid diet you use the bathroom frequently your body isnt getting the nutrience its used to so your body is weak and on top of that the pain is pretty bad especially in adults. Plus a lot of times a prescription strenght pain med is prescribed like vicodin or percocet. Most jobs today dont allow you to come to work under the influence.
