I'm age 42, male. When I drink 1 or more drinks I feel hungover the next day. I had some tooth extractions and the dentist prescribed hydrocodone APAP, and I'd take them for pain at night and felt hungover the next day and I didn't seem to snap out of it until the late afternoon. I had an endoscopy and was sedated with Demerol(I think) and was so hungover the next day, I had to call in sick to work. I mentioned all this to the Dr and she says I am perfectly healthy, blood tests came back fine, etc... It seems I am way more sensitive to substances now that I am older. Is this age related or a real medical problem?
