I take adderall a few times a week on days with heavy work loads and my tolerance has risen to the point that for all day focus and motivation I would need 90mg or so in a day. I am asking if because I have a tolerance that allows me to be comfortable at this dose, does that also mean it is safe to take even though for someone with no tolerance it would not be.
I have been on 60 mg./day for years. I once asked my Pdoc a somewhat similar question, and he told me he has only ever seen levels rx'ed up to 80 mg./day for those with severe narcolepsy, not ADHD. He told me no higher than 60 mg./day for ADHD.
What dosage are you RX'ed by your doctor?
Please feel free to PM me if you'd like--you may need a short break/stimulant switch but there are various things you can do to help the tolerance as well
