I'm told Xanax helps with pain. I have fibromyalgia and it's worse at night. Any truth to that?

It is true, though I don't know the mechanism of action. Maybe it just relaxes people so they are less focused on their pain. Or don't care. LOL

Be careful if you're using with other drugs, though. The CDC compiled vital statistics data and found, among overdose deaths involving opioids, benzos (which Xanax is) were found in 30% of those deaths.
