I was told oxycontin has changed formula. Does it come in generic with old formula?

No. No generics anymore. Perdue holds tha patent and all the old formula were pulled from the market and now you can only get the brand name Oxycontin.

The formula changed to change how the pill dissolves, to stop the abuse that is responsible for making it so hard on those who really need it. The active ingredient is the same. Yes it's true there is no generic available until at least 2013.
