Adderol for ADHD and to me it makes him mean and wierd and caused problems for us actually but I sampled it and it has worked great for me and I been kinda taking it every since but with today's times and getting in trouble for not having your own scripts of things I've realized I need to get my own script and find a dr of my own but how do I tell a dr to test me for ADD and that I know I can take adderol and I'm normal because I have no script and not sure how to fix this
The best way to be diagnosed is to see a psychiatrist, preferably one who treats adult ADD. There is no official test for ADD/ADHD. They usually go by certain symptoms that have probably been present your whole life. Sometimes they may want to look at your old school records or they may just ask you a lot of questions to determine if they think that it is truly ADD/ADHD. There are other mental illnesses that can mimic ADD/ADHD so they must carefully determine if they think you are ADD then they will put you on a trial of medication to see how you do and if your symptoms get better.
